Could you provide an invitation letter if needed, for example to asupport my visa application?
Yes. We can provide invitation or visa letters to anyone with a paid registration. Please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org
Any specific questions regarding visas should be directed to your government, embassy or immigration office. Regulations vary from country to country.
How long will it take to decide whether my proposal has been accepted?
We try to review proposals within two weeks of submission.
When will the Symposium programme be available?
The draft programme will be available online about a month before the symposium. We will be accepting proposals until the close of the call for papers. Please continue to visit this website for updates.
How do I get a copy of my registration invoice?
Please contact email@example.com for a copy of your registration invoice.
Can I transfer my registration for the Symposium to someone else?
Yes, but you must notify us by via email. Registrants who fail to attend the Symposium and do not notify us will not receive a refund. Please submit your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org
If I am unable to attend, will you refund my fee?
If you are unable to attend the Symposium, and are unable to transfer your registration to someone else, you may request (by email) a refund of your Symposium registration fee. Cancellations will be accepted as provided on the Registration page, with a refund of all fees except for an administration fee of £50. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date.
Will I get an Attendance Certificate?
Attendance certificates will be provided at the symposium, or can be emailed to delegates upon request up to 2 weeks after the event.
Could we host the next Symposium?
We are always looking for opportunities to collaborate in hosting future symposiums. If you would like to host a future symposium, please contact the Chair of the Symposium organising committee.
How long will it take for my paper to get published in the Journal?
The length of time depends on the elapsed time of the review process, in particular the time it takes the reviewers to read your paper and give feedback, the time it takes you to respond to reviewers’ requests for revisions, the number of rounds of this process, and the planned publication date of the Journal. We aim to publish suitable papers in a special issue of a selected peer reviewed journal, nine to twelve months after the symposium.
